If you have just decided to create an online shop and this is the first time you have logged in, your store may contain some dummy products and categories, simply for display purposes. Feel free to remove these before adding your own range of products. Just visit the Manage > Products and the Manage > Categories sections of the Control Panel to remove them.

Once you have added your products, you may want to think about which ecommerce merchants, such as PayPal, you want to support. PayPal will already be enabled and funds will automatically be sent to your email address as soon as you sell a product. You can enable more via the Ecommerce > Checkouts section of the Control Panel.
